How It Works
Difference Between Halal Executive, Halal Administrator, and Halal Supervisor
Halal Executive
Oversees the organization’s Halal Assurance System (HAS), ensures compliance (e.g., JAKIM or national standards), and liaises with certification bodies and regulators.
Halal Administrator
Manages documentation, internal coordination, and records. MPJA’s certification focuses on international and Muslim-friendly operations across global contexts.
Halal Supervisor
Monitors daily halal operations, ingredient handling, and cleanliness; ensures procedures like sertu (purification) are implemented correctly (e.g., BPJPH framework).
Although each certification aligns with different bodies (e.g., Halal Executive, Halal Administrator, Halal Supervisor), the shared goal is the same:
to protect halal integrity, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the halal supply chain.
