Eid Al-Adha Mubarak!
2021.07.19Eid Al-Adha Mubarak!
Praise be to Allah.
Eid al-Adhaa is the tenth day of Zulhijjah, the last month of the Hijriyah or Islamic calendar.
It is, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The greatest day in the sight of Allaah, may He be blessed and exalted, the Day of Sacrifice . . .”
(Reported by Abu Dawud; see also Saheeh al-Jaami‘, 1064).
It is also the greatest day of Hajj, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) told us. (Reported by al-Tirmidhi, see Saheeh al-Jaami‘, 8191).
Before COVID-19 pandemic, Muslims over the world performed Hajj, but due to pandemic, Muslims, except Saudi Arabia’s citizens, have had to postpone their Hajj plans.
Not also Hajj, this pandemic also brings effects in Qurbani rituals, as an extra precaution to prevent breakouts.
Even though we have to put our best efforts to prevent covid 19 breakouts, let’s take advantage of Dhulhijjah bless by doing good deeds.
Let the pandemic and all the hardship make us closer to Allah.
